Super Nintendo / SNES Information
Super Nintendo Entertainment System, abbreviated and more well-known as NES is the product of Nintendo Corporation released in November 1990 and belongs to the 4th generation of video game consoles. In Japan, the analogue of this console was known as the Famicom. After a year or two, this console began to conquer the world, reaching nearly fifty million of sales for the entire period of its life. Popularity was so high due to console games – Super Mario and Donkey Kong Country, for which all the 90’s there was an incredible race.
A distinctive feature of this console was an improved graphics and sound effects, 16-bit and additional chips. All of this has allowed it to be competitive for many years. To purchase this toy, the buyer had to shell out a little more than two hundred dollars. In 1991 was released a cheaper version of the console called Famicom Super, which was only available on United States market.
Over the years, the Super NES console often had to compete with the Genesis console developed by Sega, where the fight for the lead was usually won by Nintendo. The end of production of the console in the United States happened in 1999, and in Japan its release has been extended until 2003 by virtue of its constant demand among the customers. Almost all versions of Super Nintendo console were designed in gray color but had different forms – from square to oval. This console also has a wide range of external devices that can be connected to it. It could be all kinds of adapters for multimedia features, guns, joysticks and even special modems to connect the console to the internet, so you could download games or play online.
In conclusion, the gaming console Super Nintendo was one of the most successful inventions of that time regarding sales, which is why it is considered one of the best gaming consoles of all generations due to high quality and high performance. Today, you don’t need to own the Super NES console to play the iconic games. Simply get the emulator software and download Super Nintendo roms games, and play them on your pc, android or ios device.

How to Play this Game ?
Quick Navigation:
Game Description & Reviews:
OverviewCastlevania: Aria of Sorrow is the third Castlevania installment for the Game Boy Advance, bringing the tale of Castlevania to the 21st century and putting players in the shoes of Soma Cruz, a seemingly-normal guy who has the power to absorb souls of the castle's demons and equip them.
Nevetoss rates this game: 5/5Much like the other Castlevania games, Aria of Sorrow dumps you in the middle of Dracula's giant, danger-ridden castle. Unlike the other titles, however, this game doesn't place you in the shoes of a Belmont, or anyone who seems to have any relation to Dracula at all. Instead, you are Soma Cruz, a guy who just happened to be sucked into Dracula's castle through a solar eclipse. Unique to Soma is his ability to dominate the souls of the monsters that he's killled, giving him their attacks, abilities, and attributes. This is, in my opinion, easily the best of the three GBA Castlevania titles, and strives to be innovative while sticking with the tried and true base of Castlevania.
Pontinho rates this game: 5/5Aria of Sorrow is one of my favorite games on the GBA because you can get a bunch of abilities through souls from monsters you defeat, the graphics are better than HOD, and it's real fun to play. AOS overall is fun game that you'll keep playing for years on end.
Saintinwarpaint rates this game: 4/5If you liked Castlevania Symphony of the Night, this game will be right up your alley but with an update in mechanics.
You play as Soma who while going to meet his childhood friend, are teleported to dracula's castle.
Upon arriving at the castle you find your friend who is injured, it is up to you to solve the mystery of the castle in order to return you and your friend home.
The new mechanic introduced to the series is Soma's 'Dark Power' which awoke upon arriving at the castle and allows him to absorb the souls of the monsters he slays.
Graphically the game does a great job of presenting the castle in all it's aesthetic splendor. There's a good variety of areas within the castle each with their own unique enemies and decor.
Enemy design is top notch and all have their own move sets, while facing one enemy alone is usually easy, the game will consistently throw groups of enemies at you varied enough to make each encounter different.
Boss fights are a highlight, a good boss battle will give you a chance to succeed while still being a challenge all bosses within the castle have interesting movesets but most importantly 'tells' which allow you to avoid their attacks. After completing the game there was only one boss that felt like random luck, the rest were all a lesson in timing a prediction.
The game has a great variety of weapons, and similar to souls games stats are not always the deciding factor on which you should use. Sometimes you'll be facing a large number of flying enemies requiring you to change from your short sword to a katana which has an arc when swung, other times you may need to make every second count and thus switch to a fast swinging dagger. The point is there isn't always a 'best' weapon and to survive you must change weapons according to the situation.
TL;DR.
For a GBA game this is a steller albeit medium length romp (8-10) hours through one of my favorite Castlevania characters debut.
It's not perfect, you can get lost, but retreading past areas with your newfound abilities reaps it's own rewards.
